It's about the people!
It's been a little bit over a month since I first left [Slovenia](http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=46.05,14.5&spn=10.0,10.0&q=46.05,14.5 (Slovenia)&t=h) and joined the Zeppelin team, having been accepted into TechStars[Boston](http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=42.3577777778,-71.0616666667&spn=0.1,0.1&q=42.3577777778,-71.0616666667 (Boston)&t=h).
Right now, I am writing this on an airplane, 35.000 feet in the air, traveling at about 900 km/h. We are returning from DEMO Conference where we presented the new Zeppelin to the public for the first time.
I thought about what I should write this time, and it occurred to me that there is one aspect of this journey that is key. The people.
I am very lucky to have met people who give out this aura of positivity and are personally committed to helping friends and team members succeed. You can feel this every time you do something. They give you honest feedback. If they don't like it, they will not say "you suck", but they will inspire you to go back and do it from the start, better. You wouldn't believe the number of emails we exchanged with Davorin, David Cohen, Reed, the whole team and all the people who helped us prepare the DEMO presentation.
As I started thinking about this and how to write it down it dawned on me - these are the people who make TechStars and similar programs possible. These are the people who inspire others to be great, but they too often stay in the background. These are the people who form the core of great companies, attracting others to join. They are the ones in the background of great conferences, making sure teams have places to work at, the show goes smoothly, the PR machine works and everyone has equal opportunity…
I have one wish for the key take away of this blog post: aspire to inspire others. You will reach greatness in doing that.
And finally, a big thank you to all the people I met in the last couple of months, the guys and girl of Zeppelin, the awesome people running TechStars, the team at DEMO Conference, the PR girls… You inspire me to be better :)
